50th anniversary of The Last Waltz is coming up! Somebody get Peter Jackson on the phone! He can clean up this video, sync it with the audio and roll out an expanded DVD!
I was at the concert (second in line!) and can confirm all said. Just before the doors opened, they told us to walk (not run) past a camera they had set up at the door. Everyone around me who spent hours in line coming up with strategies to hide cameras, recorders, pot, booze, etc were giddy when they realized there would be no frisking.
Wow. 32 unseen rolls of film is a treasure. Kudos to this gentleman for doing this. As a taper myself I know what dedication that takes. He had a wonderful angle to capture the entire band. I look forward to delving into all this new material. Thank you for the interview!
Hi All, two words: Chris Hazzard. That’s the dude that painstakingly has been doing amazing work with Jerry Band and Dead Shows from fanmade video and some pro shot concerts. He is the best hands down. Lemme know if you want me to call and ask…
I was going to try adding clean audio and some stabilization to one of the songs (I picked Acadian Driftwood because I LOVE IT!), but the files are not downloadable YT. I don’t see any way to contact OP. Any thoughts on how to reach out and see if it would be all right to attempt some updating?

Love it! Would it be feasible to start a gofund me for Leo to get these cleaned up even more?
This is awesome! Now I have to find a spare 93 minutes!
