Loved this review. Having that background info on “Little Willie” in your pocket is awesome! That's the sort of thing that amazes me about Greil Marcus' writing about Dylan ... he'll invoke these little tangents and I wonder, does he have those on yellow sticky notes around his desk, just waiting? Or are they all in his well-organized mind?
And 422 Dylan shows so far? Now that is amazing! Anne Margaret, if I read that number right, you truly need to write a book of your own, please. It could find a spot on the shelf next to Ray's.
