As a Niagara Falls native, I was at both shows. As the #2 editor at Crawdaddy I'd been invited to the tour kickoff earlier in Plymouth. In Niagara Falls saw "Like a Rolling Stone" from 2nd row but "It Ain't Me Babe" was even greater. The next day at the Hilton I had brunch Ginsberg, one of our writers Anne Waldman and my daughter--age 4....
hello I am Scott Rowland. I attended the "Night of the Hurricane" at the Astrodome on the Rolling Thunder tour. Do you have any pics or stories in your interviews about that show? the artists at the show were (from memory) 1976 Bad Ass Band(?).- Stevie Wonder=Isaac Hayes(M.C with Dyan Cannon don't think he performed tho), McGuinn, Hillman, Gene Clark, others (did they call ir Byrds?)= Stephen Stills w backup joined by Santana for a jam- Rolling Thunder Revue, joined by Ringo late in the set..... Phone call at one point live with Mr Ruben Carter, Dyan Cannon read a poem. There is a badly recorded audience tape of the show on YT....
